Service Description

This intimate gathering was inspired by the owl who lives in our neighborhood. One twilight evening, while sitting beside Brigham Tavern Brook, I heard the call drifting through the still air — a gentle reminder that every season carries its own quiet gifts, even in the depths of winter. Winter invites rest and reflection. Spring stirs the planting of new seeds and the dreaming of what is ready to be born. Honoring these sacred rhythms, we will begin by turning inward with a soothing sound meditation, calling in the wisdom of our owl neighbors and opening ourselves to whispered guidance. Our sound journey will be led by the soul-stirring voice of my 48-inch sun gong, Hathor. After a short tea and snack break, we will gather in creative community to bring our Wisdom Owls to life. Through layered texture, flowing line, and intuitive color, you will weave words of insight into the feathers of your owl — a gentle, tangible reminder of the guidance you received. This mixed-media experience is open to artists of all levels. It is not about perfection, but about expression — the joy of shared energy, the exchange of ideas, and the magic of creating something truly your own. This is a small, intimate circle limited to six participants. Zero-gravity chairs will be provided, and you are encouraged to dress comfortably and bring a blanket or eye covering for the sound meditation. Herbal tea and water will be available, and you are welcome to bring a light snack or beverage. We will be working on 11×14 canvases, with full access to the treasure trove of art materials in my studio.
